How to Fight Water, Humidity and Mud
|
Torrential rain, salt-water spray, sandstorms, freezing snow
and similar weather will render most computers useless in outdoor use. Also some
indoor environments are soggy, dirty or condensing e.g. mines, heavy industry
and cold storage, making standard PCs useless.
It may be that our team of design engineers hasn't tamed the elements but
they have taken all environmental conditions into consideration before the
computer design begins. Incorporating special materials like EPDM rubber,
Gore-Tex, aluminium and magnesium has resulted in rugged, well built computers
that are ideal for years of tough use in almost any environment known to
man!
Computing in the Rain
All computer models meet the IP65 standard. This ensures protection against rain and moisture
as well as water jets.
Computing in the Shower - or even when Diving!
For use in harsher environments like docks, and on ships, etc. we
offer improved sealing meeting the IP67 standard (flush safe, dust and sand
sealed).
